Roles and Responsibilities

• Kitchen Department: In this vital role, I am responsible for creating menus, handling base shopping, and preparing meals for our staff and students. I view this as a ministry of hospitality, where I strive to provide nourishing food that fosters community and fellowship among our base members.
• Discipleship Training School (DTS): My passion for DTS stems from my own transformative experience during my training. I firmly believe in God’s power to change lives, and I am dedicated to helping others experience the same shift. Witnessing students encounter Jesus and find healing and purpose in their lives brings me immense joy. It’s a privilege to facilitate an environment where God meets a needy and broken humanity, and I strive to support each student on their spiritual journey.
• School Ministry: Together with a dedicated team of staff, I engage with local schools, sharing God’s love in their Christian Union Fellowships. Through interactive discussions and activities, we aim to encourage students in their faith and help them grow as leaders within their schools. This outreach not only nurtures spiritual growth but also fosters a sense of community and support among the youth.
• Youth Rallies: During the holidays, I collaborate with fellow co-workers to organize intentional youth rallies, gathering students from various schools for a day of fun, worship, and learning about God. These events provide a platform for youth to connect, build friendships, and deepen their faith in a vibrant and engaging environment. It is heartening to see young people excited about their relationship with Christ and encouraging one another in their walks of faith.

 

Impact and Vision

I love being part of what God is doing through our base and in our community. I am passionate about nurturing the next generation of believers and empowering them to live out their faith boldly. My experiences here have reinforced my belief that God is actively working in the lives of young people, transforming them into agents of change in their families, schools, and communities.

I am grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside like-minded individuals who share a heart for God’s mission. Together, we are making a difference in the body of Christ, fostering an atmosphere of love, acceptance, and growth.
