About Fridah:
My name is Fridah Kambura, and I am a Kenyan. My journey into missions began during my Discipleship Training School (DTS) outreach, where God spoke to me about joining missions and being involved in training and discipling people from diverse backgrounds. This calling has deeply influenced my life and ministry.
Role and Responsibilities
- Base Leadership: I currently lead the Mombasa Likoni base, guiding our team in fulfilling our mission and vision within the community.
- Class Engagement:
During the six-month Discipleship Training School (DTS) program, which is divided into two phases—Phase One: Knowing God and Phase Two: Making God Known—I engage with students in a classroom setting during the first three-month phase. In this phase, I facilitate discussions and provide support as they learn about biblical teachings and develop their faith. The DTS program aims to equip individuals for effective Christian living, culminating in the second phase where students participate in outreach experiences, applying what they have learned to share the love of Christ with their communities. - Mentorship: I prioritize one-on-one mentoring, following up with students to help them apply their learning in everyday life and guiding them as they integrate faith with action.
- Outreach Facilitation: After the lecture phase, I join the students on a three-month outreach. This phase allows students to apply what they have learned, engaging with local churches and communities to implement their teachings in real-world settings.
